Middle School in New Bern on Lockdown After Armed Intruder Report
Grover Fields Middle School in New Bern, North Carolina was placed on lockdown after two people were seen wandering near one of the school buildings, one of whom appeared to be armed. Quick action by a faculty member who saw the two individuals and alerted the school resource officer led to a prompt response from the police and the sheriff’s office.
